Hi there ... I'm an oldie on this site .. but my name no longer works so as my mum asked me to look someone up for her (she is a gold member here) I did the quick sign up to "check him out" for her lol .. but it was quite nice coming back in here after so long and seeing so many more great stories about people finding their own someone special too!

I joined up in September 2002!! My hunny joined up 4-6 weeks later and we started chatting right from the start .. not just on here but on the phone .. then he got me a mobile so we could text each other .. we met up at a few of the group events (as I was too shy to meet up otherwise) and neither one of us were looking for anyone .. me having split from a 3 year relationship 6 months before .. he just separated from his wife.

He came round for dinner the Friday before Xmas 2002 .. and we have barely been apart since! We have even bought a business together so spend all day and all night with each other and still never run out of things to say to each other .. he is a great dad to my daughter and is the greatest surprise in my life ... amazing what you find when you stop looking.

So those of you that think there isn't anyone out there for you .. or if you have been finding lots of toads ... don't give up .. my hunny doesn't look at all like I expected .. and he isn't the most romantic guy in the world lol .. but he (as Jerry McGuire says) completes me in a way that I wouldn't be without .. so thank you to Findsomeone .. a true success story and we have just had our 4th Anniversary too! (not married - by choice lol - but that night of our first dinner is our yearly Anniversary).
