There was a guy on my matches page whose profile didn't really appeal (he had a goatee and I prefer clean shaven, and he didn't really have much info on there), but I felt rude just deleting him without any contact, so sent him a smile. I figured, if he didn't reply within a week, I'd delete him. He did reply, and came across really well, although I was still sceptical, knowing how much the reality can differ from the mental picture you build. We swapped phone numbers, and he called me one morning as I left home for work (about a 25 minute drive). I pulled up outside my work, still talking on the phone to him, and realised I'd forgotten to drop my kids off! We met for coffee the next day, the day after that he bought a video up to my place, and he's been here ever since! It's been six months now since our first coffee meeting. He's rented out his house, and moved in here with his daughter. Neither of us expected to find something so amazing, it was a total surprise. He is most certainly my soul mate, and without findsomeone I may never have met him. We are happily planning our future together, and are currently looking for some land to build a house on. Thank you findsomeone, for bringing to my attention someone whose profile I wouldn't have looked twice at, who turned out to be the best thing to ever happen in my life! :-)
