When Grant met Olwyn
BAY OF PLENTY
One evening around Christmas of 2003, I was browsing the profiles and photos as a Basic member of FSO, when I received a message from a lady in Napier. It transpired that she had only recently arrived in NZ from Switzerland and was staying with a sister of a good friend she knew overseas.
Anyway, after many messages and phone calls we met in person on 16 January 2004. ANZAC Day of that same year, Olwyn relocated to Tauranga and we moved in together, starting our journey as a couple that lasted nearly 21 years.
Sadly, Olwyn never got to celebrate our 21st year together, she passed away after losing her battle with Cancer, while we were holidaying in Aitutaki.
But thank you to FindSomeone, we shared nearly 21 years of love, happiness, frustration... - let's just call it "life" - together.
